Edmonton City Council Meeting – AMSISE Community Engagement Report May 2, 2017 Edmonton AB

Alberta Health has asked Edmonton and Calgary to expedite their process of seeking provincial funding and federal approval toward implementing supervised injection services in response to the mounting opioid crisis. In turn, the Edmonton City Council moved up the date, from June to this coming Monday, May 1, when AMSISE will share their community engagement report with Councillors before they provide the required Letter of Opinion. Edmonton Police Service has also been asked to provide their Letter of Opinion.
