Campus Alberta Health Outcomes & Public health Presents: Considering Family as a Social Determinant of Health

Workshop Description: This one-day knowledge exchange workshop aims to stimulate conversation on the merits and barriers of placing couples, families, and parents in research, prevention, and treatment programs.
Preliminary outcomes of a randomized trial of a couple therapy intervention in Mental Health and Addiction Services will be presented by researchers, addiction counsellors and couples who took part in the study.
Participants from Campus Alberta universities, AHS, Alberta Health and other community organizations will discuss the role of the family their respective areas of health services and research.

Collaborative projects will be explored.
